Maranatha Bible Church


Bloom: Moms Living & Learning - This 6 week program is designed to support and encourage Moms through their journey in life.

Good News Club - This club will be offered as an after school option at Taylor Elementary on the following dates: October 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16. Pre-registration is not necessary.

Trunk or Treat - Treats and fun for the family on Monday, October 31st from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in Maranatha's Commons parking lot at the corner of 6th St and 3rd Ave. The event is free, invite a neighbor!

Financial Peace University - Would you like to learn how to manage your money and have financial peace? We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan. Coming Spring 2017.

Matthew 25 Ministry Hub


Empowering Taylor Neighbors - Mathew 25, Taylor Neighborhood Association, and Grow Taylor in partnership with Green Iowa AmeriCorps is providing a free energy audit for your home. It will help you determine how energy efficient your home is and give you opportunities to improve efficiency and potentially SAVE YOU MONEY on your heating and cooling bills. In the process of these audits they occasionally find unsafe situations and can help alleviate those problems as well. Contact us to schedule your free Green Assessment!

Young Parents Network




Ready to Read - Free books, snacks and activities! This program will offer reading activities for you and your children to take home. Fall offerings will be September 14 from 11:45am - 12:45pm (birth - preschool) and November 9 from 3:45pm - 5:00 pm (birth - 3rd grade) at Taylor Elementary. Call Young Parents Network for more information.

Parent Café - Young Parents Network and YouthPort will partner to bring you parent café workshops. Please look for more information about this program on this website and TANA website in October/November 2016.


TANA will be hosting block parties once a month, weather permitting and will publicize upcoming events around the neighborhood. Be sure to like TANA on Facebook school will host one or more workshops for parents of school age children this fall.
