We are entered into a contest with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Eastern Iowa. We have until April 1, 2010 to collect & turn in pop tabs. The winning school will be announced in late April 2010 in coordination with Earth Day. The winning school will receive a prize & a presentation ceremony.

2008-2009 school year winner was Lakeview Elementary in Solon, IA with 378 pounds & they received an ice cream party for the school & Ronald stopped by the school.

So come on TAYLOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN CEDAR RAPIDS, IA!!!

So start saving today and bring them into either the classroom teacher or the office before March 15, 2010.

With Winter here, PLEASE remember to wear a warm coat to school. Don't forget the winter gloves, hats, snow pants, and boots too!

When the wind chill is lower than 10 degrees, we stay indoors for recess.
